Tuesday, October 17. 2006MySpace Super Top 8, 12, 16, 20, 24MySpace Super Top 8, 12, 16, 20, 24 You must have noticed that MySpace shows your friends in the order you added them by default. All of us have a number of friends but there are always those special friends who are closer to us than the rest…the friends we really adore. So, wouldn’t it be nice if we could sort our friends in our preferred order? And to top that wouldn’t it be great if you could show most of your friends on your profile page? Until recently MySpace didn’t allow you to sort your friends or show more than 8 friends on your profile page i.e., you had to click the ‘View All Friends’ link in order to see all the friends. But now, not only you can sort your top friends; you can display as much as 24 friends on your profile page. [Note: You will need the Friend ID of your friends, the URL of the View All Friends/View All Comments link on your profile page and the URL of the pictures of your friends. Have a look at the MySpace Friend Id page in this document for information on how to find the Friend Ids. Just right click the links and choose Copy Shortcut or Copy Link Location to get the URLs. And for your friend pictures, just right-click the picture and choose ‘Copy image location’ (Netscape / Firefox) or choose ‘Properties’ (IE) option to get the picture URL.] I. MySpace Super Top 8 How to Install: 1. Login to your MySpace profile. II. R4WRGEN 2.0 Created in July of 2005, r4wr.com was the first place ever to give people the option of having MORE than a top 8, even before MySpace let people change their top 8. Here, you can create a myriad of different friend space layouts, to find the one that suits your profile the best. The process is easy, just fill in the configuration options, and click the individual pictures in the second section to set up who you want to include on your friend space. Once you're completed, just click the "Get Code" button, and the code needed will be displayed for you to cut and paste into your profile. You can also edit your code later on. How to Install: 1. When you are done creating your top friends list, click on the ‘Get Code’ III. MySpaceFly Custom Friends Space This generator will allow you to create a customized friend space for your MySpace profile. It was originally intended to help customize a person's top 8, long before MySpace gave users that feature. Some people now think of this tool as a top 12, 16, or even top 20 generator... even though you can choose as many or as few as you want (up to 40). All you have to do is fill in the options in the first section, then click on each individual picture in the second section and the generator will ask you about the details needed for the friend that you want to put there. You need to fill in all three boxes! If you need help with that part, there are little question marks that look like (?), next to the boxes. When finished, click the "Generate" button and it will give you the code you need to put in your profile. How to Install: 1. Copy the generated code. IV. Htmate Custom Friends List Select your Friends, don't let myspace choose it for you! With this Gen, you can choose the picture of your friend, your friend's name (name it whatever you want), change the phrase "You have 752 Friends" to something like "You have 752 Lovers" or anything you want! This is a point and click generator. All you need to do is to select the desired options and just click the friend pictures to choose your top friends. How to Install: 1. When you are done creating your top friends list, click on the ‘Get Code’ button to generate the code. V. MySpace Toolbox MySpace Super Top 8 Generator: It allows you to overwrite and customize your "Top 8" section with up to 30 people! There's never been a simple way to do this until now! We've been hard at work and with our generator, all you have to do is: 1. Select your number of columns and rows, your headings and your Friend ID and click "Update". 1. Copy the generated code.
